Estes Park Real
Estate
Nestled in the foothills of
the Rocky Mountains, Estes Park, Colorado, is a beautiful locale that
is considered by many to be a prime Colorado real estate area. It is the gateway
to Rocky Mountain National Park, a prominent tourist attraction. Three
million visitors a year visit the city. Estes Park is also just 40
minutes away from Fort Collins, CO, named Money magazines number one
place to live in 2006. The city is also 40 minutes away from Boulder,
CO, home of the University of Colorado. Many homes in Estes
Park have spectacular views of snow-capped mountains and gentle rivers.
There are also quite a few Estes Park homes for sale along the scenic Big Thompson
River that runs through town. As it is so close to the wilderness,
Estes Park boasts plenty of interesting wildlife, including deer,
Bighorn sheep, and a herd of elk that stay in the valley right around
town. Despite being at an elevation of over 7,000 feet, the community
actually gets less snow than many of the surrounding areas during the
winter. There is plenty of room for Estes Park to grow, as the 2005
census recorded only 5,812 residents.
Estes Park

southeast side of town, this community has some gorgeous homes selling
